Punch cuban cigars (medium)
Created in 1840 by Manuel Lopez, the Punch cigar brand takes its name from the popular character of Punch so widely seen in English puppetry in the 19th century. The caricature of Mr Punch (of magazine fame) remains a feature of each cigar box.
Punch is the second oldest Havana brand still in production and this wide range of mild to medium cigars offers a fragrant bouquet with a distinctive and slightly sweet flavour. Both the Punch Punch and the Double Corona provide a dependable introduction to the marque.
These cigars are quite popular, with the Punch model the object of affection by many devoted followers. This full flavoured brand was made by Corujo y Cia. after 1859 and prior to nationalization, was owned by F. Palicio y Cia.
