El Rey del Mundo is the name of two premium cigar brands, one produced on the island of Cuba for Habanos SA, the Cuban state-owned tobacco company, and other produced in Honduras by the Villazon family.
This great Havana cigar brand whose name means "The King of the World" was developed in 1848 and under the direction of Antonio Allones.
Well known for its dark and oily wrappers, it was one of the most expensive Havana’s available in the middle of the 20th century.
