Diplomaticos (medium to full) 

The Diplomaticos cigar was introduced in 1966 as the first new brand of Cuban cigar to come out of Cuba after the Revolution.

The Diplomaticos cigar is essentially a second value line of the Montecristo brand, primarily aimed at the French market. The tobacco used is milder than that used for Montecristo and nowadays is usually still a bit cheaper in price than corresponding Montecristo sizes.

The Diplomaticos line is produced at the Jose Marti factory and is one of the few Havana brands which is exclusively devoted to handmade cigars; the sizes and names essentially mirror the Montecristo nomenclature.

They are generally considered to be medium to full bodied.
